Cutting instructions are oversized for Paper Piecing. From print fabric cut (4) 1-3/4” x 2” rectangles, (4) 1-3/4” x 5-1/2”. From background fabric cut (4) 1-3/4” x 2” rectangles, (4) 2-1/4” x 2-3/4” rectangles.
Piece your center section.
Sew each of the 4 background fabric triangles to your center pieced section. Carefully align each one against the outside edge of the print fabric wedges. You will start and stop inside the ¼” seam allowances. Press outward.
Next you will sew the outside print background sections to complete the block. Add each section by sewing down one side - do not sew over the seam allowances on the intersecting (outside) edges.
With your needle in the DOWN position as you work around the corners…pivot the fabric to align the shortest/middle section. Pivot again at the end of the edge and stitch up the remaining side.
Repeat this method with remaining 3 outside sections. Once all 4 sections are sewn onto the block press and trim to 5”. (refer to block A13 for similar Y seam assembly)

Each block you make is even more gorgeous ! What a wonderful tutorial ! Thanks !
